Dental Services
Our staff is completely trained in each of the dental services we provide. It is our desire to provide our patients with the highest quality and most current dental care possible. We strive to be professional and courteous as we work with our patients so that they can achieve a beautiful smile and healthier teeth and gums. We take the time to explain treatment options and answer any questions our patients may have. It is important to have a trusting doctor/patient relationship and we work hard to relieve any stress a patient may have about the dental care they need.
Below are some of the dental services we provide:
COSMETIC DENTISTRY
We can perform any type of dentistry that can enhance the beauty of your smile including veneers (laminates), tooth colored fillings, crowns and teeth whitening.
CEREC CROWNS
We have the ability to provide our patients with a crown, onlay/inlay or laminate completed in one visit, using a camera, a computer and a milling machine. There is no impressioning, instead a picture is taken of the tooth and the crown is made while you wait. The entire procedure takes about 1 ½ hours.
VENEERS (LAMINATES)
A very thin layer of porcelain is bonded over the natural tooth to either change color or shape or to straighten teeth or close spaces. This can be done in just 2 visits and usually requires no anesthesia.
CROWNS
A way of restoring a tooth that has either broken or decayed, by completely covering the tooth.
BRIDGES
A way of replacing missing teeth using a non-removable, fixed prosthetic appliance.
DENTURES (FULL AND PARTIAL)
An artificial, removable substitute to replace teeth and adjacent tissues.
IMPLANTS
The ability to replace a missing tooth or teeth by placing a prosthetic screw in the bone and then placing a crown on top of this screw.
GUM LIFTS
Using a dental laser, excess gum tissue can be removed providing an improved cosmetic or periodontal result.
CANKER SORE THERAPY
Using a special dental laser, and usually without anesthesia, we are now able to reduce the amount of time that you will experience discomfort from a canker sore.
TEETH WHITENING (BLEACHING)
This procedure can be done in one visit to our office and takes approximately 2 hours.
LASER PERIODONTAL THERAPY
The ability to treat periodontal disease using a laser. The laser will kill all bacteria to infinity and totally sterilize the periodontal pockets. The laser can also be used to perform soft tissue periodontal surgery. This can usually be done without anesthesia.
NON-SURGICAL PERIODONTAL DISEASE TECHNIQUES
An antibiotic, Arestin, is placed directly into the periodontal pocket.
NIGHT/OCCLUSAL GUARDS
A custom-made, soft or hard appliance, fabricated to treat grinding or jaw joint disease.
